I was lucky enough to meet Warren back in early 1987 when RATT were in Dayton, Ohio to do a show at Hara Arena. It was a January I believe,and bitterly cold. Despite those temperatures my then girlfriend,and I waited outside behind the arena to try,and meet the band after the show. After standing around freezing our butts off for I don't know how long,the tour bus door opened,and Warren who had obviously already been on the bus before we got back there, called us inside! We told him that we were back there waiting to meet the band,and he was so incredibly kind to us. He couldn't believe that we would be willing to wait for such a longtime in such cold weather just to meet him! He really was genuinely touched. When I was younger I met quite a few bands, and musicians,and being famous - most of them weren't very friendly,but Warren was the exception to that,as he treated us as though we were the only fans he had! We stayed on the bus for sometime talking to him (we couldn't believe how lucky we were),and he even posed for a picture with us! After we were leaving the bus,and said goodbye to Warren,RATT Vocalist Stephen Pearcy,and Guitarist Robbin Crosby were just leaving the arena,and walking to the bus - so we met them, and posed for pics with them as well!

Back in 89, during the Reach For The Sky Tour in Japan, I won an after show pass from a local radio show, and I was able to meet all the RATT members for the first time. Me and my friends got the first row tickets for that night, so we made a big banner saying "We wanna reach for you!" We drew roses (for Robbin) and sewed spangles (for Stephen). haha Good memories.
